The caption analysis was brutal — in the best way. We rewrote our content voice completely and the engagement difference was immediate.

Off-peak covers were our biggest problem. Three months of grid consistency and story cadence later — the midweek bookings turned around completely.

In their words

What restaurant owners say about the audit

Honest feedback from independent operators across London — before they became clients.

I expected a generic checklist. What I got was a specific, pointed breakdown of exactly why our grid wasn't converting visitors into followers. The caption section alone was worth it.

No call required, no sales pitch in the email. Just the audit. That alone tells you something about how they work — and made us far more likely to reach back out when we were ready.

We're a small team — I handle everything front-of-house and Instagram. The audit told me in plain language what to change first, not a list of twenty things I'd never get to.

What your audit covers

Five specific areas — each one ranked by impact.

Grid composition & visual consistency

How your overall feed reads at a glance — palette cohesion, framing quality, the difference between a curated grid and a random scrapbook.

Caption voice analysis

What's working, what reads generic, and whether your captions are building personality or just filling space.

Posting cadence vs. peer benchmark

How often you're posting relative to comparable London fine dining accounts — and whether frequency is helping or hurting reach.

Reels & TikTok presence gap

Whether you're missing an obvious short-form content channel — and what it would take to start making an impact there.

Top 3 specific changes, ranked by impact

Three concrete things you can change this week — not theory, not fluff. What will move the needle first.

Here's exactly what you'll receive

An anonymised sample based on a real restaurant. Names removed, results real.

Instagram Audit — Restaurant X · Mayfair Sample
Grid Consistency
62
Moderate — warm tones dominate but occasional cold-food shots break cohesion
Caption Voice
45
Below benchmark — generic food language, no personality coming through
Posting Cadence
88
Strong — 5x/week with good consistency. Ahead of peer average.
Reels Presence
31
Low — zero Reels in past 90 days. Significant missed opportunity.
01 Caption voice is the biggest blocker

85% of captions read like they were written by a scheduling tool, not a person. "Beautiful evening at Restaurant X 🌙 #LondonDining" doesn't give a follower a reason to stop. Every caption needs a point of view.

Action: Before every post, ask: "Would my best regular guest say this?" If not, rewrite.
02 Reels gap is costing you reach

Comparable Mayfair accounts with Reels active are seeing 3-4× the reach on non-Reels posts due to algorithmic boost. You're not doing Reels — and the algorithm knows.

Action: One Reels per week. Start with a 15-second kitchen prep clip. No script needed.
03 Grid has a cohesion problem at the bottom third

Top two-thirds of the grid are warm, well-lit, consistent. The bottom third has a jarring cold-food shot and two blurry evening photos that feel out of place on a fine dining feed.

Action: Run a 30-day "curate before posting" check. If it doesn't fit the palette, hold it.

Trusted by independent fine dining operators

Real results. Real restaurants.

The audit was the push we needed. We went from guessing to knowing exactly what to fix first. Three months in, our covers on Tuesday and Wednesday are up 47%.

No upsell, no call. Just a clear audit in my inbox. It gave us the confidence to stop posting randomly and actually have a strategy.

SC
Sophie Chen
Marketing Director, Harper's Table

We were doing 3 posts a week with no strategy. The audit flagged our Reels gap immediately. Four weeks later, our reach on non-Reels posts started climbing.
